will a 5spd tranny off a d15 bolt right up to a d15 that had a 4spd tranny
it'll bolt right up and fit but then you'll need a 5spd linkage, 5 spd axles, and you posted in the wrong forum, you should've posted this in the tech forum
btw anybody might want to back me up on the linkage and axles?

only the civic std came in a 4sp manual if i remember correctly. so its probably a 88-91 civic. and everything should bolt up fine.

u know what, i just remembered something about the trans on the 88 having a different numbered spline than the 89-91 trans. whats years the car? but i know for sure the trans out of the 89-91 civics are interchangeable. also, since you're getting another tranny, might as well get an si tranny from an 89-91 civic or crx
