Default BMW Xenons[aiming?]

I have had the BMW xenons in my car for a while but I can't see too well. Most of the places I drive are pretty well lit but its time to aim them. They are from a 3 series...anyone have luck aiming these?

you should aim the lights according to the service manual, maybe a little lower to keep the light out of on-coming drivers eyes.

If I remember right you need to aim them at a wall, approx 9 feet away, and with the horizontal break in the pattern 23 inches above the floor and the vertical being centered just to the right.

BTW what did you take them out of and did the ballasts plug into your headlight harness?

My friend just finished his Mercedes HID's on his Accord. Very easy stuff, just had to pull the stick harness wires out of the plastic plug and use some connectors to connect it to the ballasts. Looks gorgeous!

the plug went right into the ballast, but the bimmers have a sort of reflector plate in front of the bulb.
