There is a 91 Si for sale down the street from my house. It needs some body work ( left front and rear fender), new hood, and has a cracked tail lamp. Some clean up and maintenance is key. The car has 200k miles on it exact. Starts right up and runs pretty well. My cousin really wants the car, the guy wants $900 for it. sounds like a good deal to me. is it?
also, without swapping engines is it worth the buy in terms of how much longer the car will run after 200k miles? My Crx has 110,000 miles on it so i never really wondered about this lol thanks!

yeah it has no signs of rust or anything, it sounds like a real good deal for him atleast. yeah i hear ya about passing up good deals haha how much longer do you think the car will run after 200k miles? i mean how much after 200k miles will the car run for minus a swap? he's freakin out about the mileage thing, i told him not to worry bout it, do you think its will run for a long time after this?
i paid 800 for a near perfect 1989 hf (one ding in passenger side door), i paid 150 for a 1989 crx si with a body kit and $200 steering wheel, plus it came with a set of apc coilovers still in the box...now i dont think $900 is a deal...oh yeah the $150
had a zc dohc motor with a 4 bent valves...
I say give him 500 at most and if not walk away more will come your way.
