Default ITR Insurance

Ok, last year my insurance with Liberty Mutual Fire Co. was 2,200 for the entire year. At the beginning of the new term, it dropped to 1,390 a year. Woohoo!

A saving of $810. My goodness that's alot.

If some of you haven't noticed yet, I've recently put a deposit down on a 2004.5 M3. Dad called today for insurance quote.

I hope you guys are sitting down.

$1,285 a F**king YEAR! OMG!!!! That's ridiculous! It's cheaper to insure a $50,000 car than a $20,000. WTF!?

Thank you to the theives for not wanting an M3.

How much are you guys rates?

Len

1400 every 6 months, IIRC.

A Z06 is cheaper to insure under my name than my freaking ITR.

Same here. The four seats seems to scare them. I believe when we asked a cuple years ago, a corvette was also cheaper to insure than a Z28 camaro.

Does anybody know where I could get a listing of vehicle's insurance symbol codes or is that confidential/exclusive to insurance agents? That would be curious to look at.

I'm fairly sure ITRs are listed under "SOL".

I know that the ITR is listed in the "high performance" catagory, same class at some of the V8 muscle cars out there. Atleast thats what I was told by my insurance co Liberty Mutual.

LoL. Does investment properties count even if I don't live in it? If so, I got 1 house and a townhome.
