Replacing the clutch on a 91 Accord
you will need the clutch mounting tool. it should come with the new clutch you buy, but if you get an aftermarket clutch, you may have to make your own. to do that, just take a deepwell socket and wrap some electrical tape around it until it fits snugly arount the clutch and inside the flywheel. or you could borrow it form a shop if they will let you. make sure that the clutch fits real snug because you want it to be in the exact place. i dont know any sites, but if you have a buddy help you, it isnt too hard.
I don't think it's something you'd want to tackle yourself if you've never replaced a clutch before. I've never done that. All I can say is that once you're disconnected your tranny housing, don't rest it on your motor's output shaft!
Heh I have my old F22 motor just sitting in the garage and I'm going to replace its clutch some time just for s**ts and giggles.
