Not very hard...especially if they came precut. The hardest part for me was to blow dry to remove the wrinkles around the edges

What kind of vinyl are you guys using...Is there a difference in thickness vs uniform light transparency?

Well if you just let the vinyl sit still with soap water without blow drying it, you won't be able to smooth out the edges (especially on round edges).

As above, not hard at all..

I get mine from http://www.decalgirl.com

she uses the 7 year vinyl and has transparent tape to ease the install process..

where do you suppose to cut? around just the amber part or just a full square just to cover the whole thing so it can be easier?

how is that rice? you're not putting vinyl on the entire taillight just the amber part. It's like the old dc2 went from amber to red, personally i prefer the red

I got the cheap model vinyl...faded in a month, so i got the professional calon stuff still red as it ever was.

everytime i applied it, i could never get all the bubbles out where the tailight curves (even with a hair dryer)

That's strange...i thought vinyl is supposed to last a long time. I couldn't get all bubbles out on mine either. But it's not noticable unless you are looking at it closely. Any more pictures of your car?
