It has been a long time ago but I read and saw pictures of a two stroke Honda (I think was a Honda at least) nsr 250. They had developed it for motorcycle side car racing. It made I want to say around 200 Hp. But a change in the rules made it illegal to run. And I have seen other turbo two stroke too, including snowmobiles.

Just get a busa, turboing a 2 stroke is worthless, you'll just lift the front wheel off the ground every time the turbo spools.

That's gonna cost you a whole lot of money just to "**** around" with.

Turbo kits run like 5 grand after you've gotten everything you need...

Ive read a site showcasing a turbo banshee. They placed the turbo under the rear seat. Probably used one of those aerocharger self lubricated turbos. The hardest
part is going to sorting out the fueling.
If your looking to try something out of the ordinary, check this out:

http://www.perfectpower.com/installations/bike.asp
http://www.perfectpower.com/in...2.asp

It really wouldnt be too difficult at all. Those guys easily doubled the horsepower
of a blaster motor just by fuel injecting it. Im sure the gains on a tuned 2stroke
bike are not going to be as dramatic, but it would be a great start. You should
be able to set the thing up for well under $1000 and some easy fabrication.
Would make the bike about 100x easier to turbocharge also.

As a side note, i have a Perfect Power PRS-4 which ive been sitting on for a little
while. Im going to use it on my f4i this year when i turbocharge it. Really
kickass standalone for dirt freakin cheap. Easy compares to units double and
tripple the price.

I don't see why it couldn't be done. there use to be a production bike from the early eighties that was a 2 stroke and turbo.

Then why ask us in here? You should be shipping your bike to a reputable turbo shop and have them do what they will, since cost isn't an issue for you.

BTW, what size motor? Don't tell me it's that 250 in your avatar?

Damn man a 250 two stoke is already fast. Sorry I though you was talking about a dirtbike. Now I can see why you would want to put a turbo on a street bike. I personly would think tha if you calle mikuni and started asking some questions on ther about he carbs then they could proubably help you out. Also you wouldn't be able to pull any wheels for any extended period of time AT ALL. bikes already have problems with oiling while there on one wheel now you add a turbo to the game that needs oil also. Man this bike would be nible and quick. with some boost. You could go with a 9b or and 11b. 9b is off the mitsubishi 3000gt if I'm not mistaken and the 11b is off of a turbo mirage. The 11b is set up for a 1.6 liter and in theory the 9b is set up for half a 3.0 liter so I guess 1.5 liters. I'm not sure what kind of CFM your 250 pulls in though and I'm not sure if the burned black smoke would be damaging on the turbo. I though that most 2 strokes bikes were vaccume fed fuel. You might have to buy a special carb or carbs to handle the boost pressure so it doesn't flud the bowls. I think I remeber reading about this once where its kind of like a check valve that needs to be installed on the carb. Anyways good luck on you experimenting. Wish I could be there to ride that little missle

DONT DO IT! youll just end up blowing up your. 'spare' motor...and what good a blown spare motor? youre gonna have enough problems getting the jetting right. and once you do get it right, the weather will change and youre back to square one. like i said to you before in private man....keep it simple. 2strokes are all anout powerband tuning. a turbo would be good for only one thing on a bike and that drag racing. other than that a turbo is worthless. spend youre cash on a rinding school of some sort. itll be worth alot more in performance than any turbo. get your bike runnin and RIDE.

Has anyone ever see a turbo 2-stroke? It seems like it wouldn't be very reliable to say the least. It just doesn't seem like it would be worth the trouble. If i was going to turbo anything it would be a 4-stroke.

If anyone has any links or info at all about a turbo 2-stroke, I would definitely be interested in checking it out.
