Which strut bars can I have with a Tein Flex suspension w/EDFC
I have a '92 DX Hatch with GSR brakes (in case that matters).
I was planning on having Spoon strut bars all around (front upper and lower and rear upper and lower) and Mugen front and rear sway bars. At the same time I wanted to have the Tein Flex Suspension with the EDFC. However I was just researching and realized that the EDFC motors go on top of the shocks...which happens to be where a lot strut tie bars are installed. I've searched a lot on honda-tech but have come up with very little information that would help me decide which strut bars I could have. All I found was that someone had problems with the front spoon strut bar and their Tein HA suspension. From this I can assume that I'll definitely have problems with the suspension set up I have in mind.
Now my question is, what options do I have for strut bars? I'm guessing the Mugen front strut bar should be fine because it doesnt go around the part where the top of the shock shows, but what about the rear strut bar? The Mugen one looks like it kind of wraps around like a half circle around where the EDFC motor would be installed. Would this be a problem? I'm trying to keep the front and rear strut bars matching in terms of the make if at all possible. Also, would I have any problems with my other suspension set up? I'm referring to the lower strut tie bars and the sway bars.
Any help would be greatly appreciated, especially if you have any experience with Tein suspensions. Thanks...

Last I checked you'll have clearnce issues with the hood using the edfc. I believe it does not fit in our chassis.
u need to space your hood up and cut the under hood frame to get the lil box fit....looks ghetto but function over fashion, plus it gives ya a nice air entry to keep your bay as cold as possible.....
Carbing SP is the only bar I know that works.....and, spoon, as long as it connects to the strut bolts and not the tower you'll be fine...

yes - i believe you will have to notch the hood to get the edfc to fit properly in a 92-95 civic
strut bars that work:
Carbing (imagestation down currently)

Spoon

Mugen - I don't think will work

I dont want to steal the thread but one quick question. If I use the mugen front strut tower bar can I get to the adjustment on my tein SS.
Now to add to the thread, the EDFC will not fit the front dampers on a civic because of hood clearence. You can always rig something up to work like lifting the back of the hood up with a spacer but I know for a fact it will not clear the hood stock.

Wow all this hassle just to get the ability to change my settings from inside the car... I guess I just wanted the bling-factor that went along with having the little EDFC control inside the car lol.
Do you guys seriously think its worth the effort to have the EDFC system installed, or should I just get the plain Tein Flex and still get the rest of the suspension set up i mentioned (in terms of the strut and sway bars.)?
BTW, thanks for all the info...

Yea pretty much, I guess I'll just stick with the suspension set up i wanted minus the EDFC for now...and if I ever decide to start doing road racing I can just add it later on...Its just too much of a hassle for me to put it on my car just to feel cool and like never use it. Not to mention the money itd save me, lol.
Once again...thanks everyone for all your help and input...I really appreciate it.

what would be the difference?
it takes me all of 20 seconds to change the stiffeness of my shock. no i did no want the edfc, because im not that lazy. the only people i can justify have it for purpose sake is someone with a full interior ek where the rear shocks are imposible to get to without pulling the speakers.
