searched and nothing useful came up... what type of slider/bracket would bolt up to a Recaro SRD? The SrD that im picking up is not the jdm itr/ctr ones... its just the regular SRD seat that you could pick up from Optauto.com
anyways.. what kind of bracket/slider would i need to bolt it up to a 2000 dc2 chassis? and where would i be able to pick one up? and what brand would i need to use?

haha i was wondering the same thing..i was atoptauto.com and i wanted to buy the recaro srd's black with red stitch but they dont come with brackets and i dont know whee to get the brackets?..can we use the stock seat brackets?

true... but would anyone know which set rails/sliders to pick up from Optauto.com?

they mentioned to pick up a set of MoMo's... but there are like 4 different types of sliders.. and i dont know which set to buy

i dont think stock sliders/rail would work in our application.. since the seats are univeral, but then i could be wrong

 

op auto will prolly rape you on prices for the brackets, maybe they wont. I was just trying to lead you on to someone with good service I have personally dealt with. That was all.

I would personally buy um... RECARO brackets for the recaro seats you plan on buying, I have no idea what other brackets could possibly work with those seats.

 

thanks for the heads up i was just using Optauto as an example of where to buy the seats and what type of brackets to use... Opt was just saying to use Momo rails/brackets for teh SRD's

 

ya options has them its a wedge braket with a recaro slider runs about $290.00-$350.00 driver and pass i have a set that came off my jdm srd seats i just sold the seats and got bride seats i have no use for my braket and slider if u want them $150.00

it should come in a set if its the recaro slider and mounting bracket.

 

sliders help the seat move back and forth
brackets mount the seat to the floor of the car.


94-01 tegs and 92-00 civics use the same sliders but not the same brackets. 92-95 civics and 94-01 tegs can use the same brackets but only 3 bolts with bolton if used on a 96-00 civic.

who else sells wedge brackets?

not really! If you are looking to buy the jdm seats nobody really sells the brackets your looking for, they just butrape you for the cost of the seats, its not like it would benefit a shop to carry every bracket possible in their shop only to sell one set of junkyard seats.

MY SLIDER AND BRACKET IS COMPLETE ITS A FULL REACARO BRACKET AND SLIDER FROM FACTORY JDM HONDA RECARO ALL U NEED IS THE BOLTS FOR THE SEATS AND I HAVE THOSE 2
