Carbing 3pt (triagulation) bar is pretty nice. Too bad, you have to mess wth wire harness by the passenger side shock tower.

I'd say that it's a good buy. Is it better than Mugen? Probably at 10/10th driving.

Outperform? It's a very hard piece to test for effectiveness. Most do a good enough job for those of us without big $$ in test equipment to test chassis flex/rigidity/etc to compare stuff like this.

It's all very subjective because the difference is very little unless driven on the edge.

any bar that adds another attachment point will outperform the other , especially something that is triangulated.

What is this 'bling' I keep hearing about? My 2 point Carbing bar was $140, not $1400.

True.

I thought Carbing made a 2pt also.... a direct comparison between a 2pt and 3pt attachment bar is useless, IMO.

It's like comparing your jumping skills on 'da moon' and on the moon's moon, Earth. Pointless.

I do believe that a strut tower bar that attaches to the factory location is utterly useless.

This is comparing the stock ITR "strut" bar to a Carbing aluminum two point. Totally understood why Doc Cortez mentioned flexiflyer when I told him my spring rates. Car used to squeak, groan and just didn't feel all that great driving through pot marked highways with the stock ITR bar. Now, there isn't a peep out of the chassis after installing the front Carbing bar.

How do you know you would feel a difference? I'm not convinced any of us could tell the difference.

what about this:

The only thing that worries me is that its not 3 straight pieces of metal but rather 2 curved. Looks like its a point for more flex and such...

but its around half the cost of a carbing bar

How do you suppose the 3rd mounting point could be made with out bending "curving" the bar.

3pt > 2pt
2pt > having nothing

that was a good piece but it did not fit in my engine bay/would not clear the tops of the tein ra.
