sup guys , thought id post this for the people who dont know....and before i start i didnt think of this , gotta give it up to my homies at MODACAR , this is their mod that i bit like a damn copycat. the cusco eg dc2 fits just fine on an ek . the only thing is , is that the long bolt that presses against the MC is off center , but makes no difference. still functions 100%

a little tech for hte guys that are going to use a dc2 one , push the bolts through the bottom going up , that way they protruding end of hte bolt will be on top , if not it could hit the control arm. and your gonna wanna put one bolt through , tighten maybe 1 turn , then put the other one in and tighten , this way you can get both bolts through , because if you line it up the holes dont match up 100% but will line up when tightened. other than that its strait foreward.

P.S. this is the LHD DC2 brace , the RHD will require cutting of the brace a little bit

yes its a noticable difference in braking power....mos def worth the 70 bucks

 

ok so it stops the booster from pushing all out and stuff and keeps your firewall from flexing. But how does it make your car brake harder?

 

by stoping that flex it gives the pedal a firmer feel , thus less effort is needed to stop the same as you would without it.....

peep this video that DRIVE made to show the flex of the MC during hard braking.
Drives MC brace is every good as well and they have an ek application as well

okay, now that I have that working.......thats
seems a bit odd. How hard were they breaking to
get it to move like that? And the noise it was making.....
