the old harness should have a plug for the map sensor. the map sensor is located on the firewall on a 4th gen and on the top of the throttle body on the z6. its not parts of the harness that comes out when you take the engine out, that might be why you cant find it.
ok where on the firewall please be more specific i need all the help i can get, and what should i do to fix the problem???
kinda near the fuse box. it has a vaccum line coming from it. it and another thing with vacuum lines going to it are on this little rack like thing on the firewall. when i get home i can post a pic and circle it if ya need. but that wont be til late tonight.
ok.
first pic. farther from the fuse box then i remember
stock engine, the map sensor is circled in green.
second pic. z6 map sensor circled in green, where the stock map sensor was circled in red.

so i guess i need to take the sensor that is plugged in the on the firewall and plug it to the senor on the intake manifold????

ok thats what i did the big round plug is plugged in the map sensor on the intake manifold and the small one is still plugged in where it was before, the car starts up perfect and runs awesome, just the only problem is that the car idles at 2500 rpm the code 3 and 5 are now gone thanks to your help code 10 i m not to concerned about because is probably somenthing not that important but what should i do to bring the idle back down to 750 rpm?????
Once again thank you so much for your help the pictures helped so much!!! i really hope that now you can help me bring my idle speed down a bit!!!

hmm. im not sure. could be many thing. might be a vacuum leak, you might have the vacuum line routed wrong, IACV could be bad as well as the FITV could be bad, or your idle screw could just be too tight.
IACV- Idle Air Control Valve
FITV- Fast Idle thermo valve
try this link, i used it for my bad idle trouble shooting - http://www.ef-honda.com/ben/Badidle.html
