Default axles wont go in all the way! zc crx swap

just got done, or so i thought, swapping my zc into my 91 crx si and neither axle will seem to go in all the way. i used my stock si tranny and axles. could there be something inside? i really dont want to pull the suspension again, so if anyone can help me out asap i would really appreciate it.

by the way, both axles are about the same length away from the tranny.

did you try to tap it in by hitting the flange? you hafta tap it in because of the c clip.

if you are putting back in the stock si tranny with the stock axles, theres not need to take off your dust shield because they should fit. do like the other guy said and tap lightly with a hammer
