2nd Gen integra seats in 88-89 hatch?
I have seen many people cruizing up and down the expressway with integra seats in their 88-91 hatches, and i want to know how the hell did they do it.
I took out my passenger seat for starters and the integra seat would not fit.
(the civic seat rails have the rails running closer parallel with each other than the integras)
can someone that has done this swap help me out please?

u sure they werent just Si seats...they look similar and I cant really see lots of people swapping over teg seats...unless u mean 1 or 2 cars
you probably have a point here. they probably were si seats with the integra headrest. well, is there anyone out there who has installed 2Nd Gen integra seats in the 88-91?
I put 90-93 Integra seats in my 91 Civic hatch...it's pretty simple and I think this also applies to 94+ Integra seats, too.Don't weld or drill holes thrugh your floor!
1.Remove factory Civic seats.
2.Remove OUTER rails (next to door) from Civic seats.
3.Remove OUTER rails from Integra seats.
4.Install Civic outer rails onto the Integra seats.
5.Tweak the wire that goes between the sliders by bending/cutting some length off, otherwise you're seat wont slide back. You may have to work with it to get it just right, but it doesn't take long.
6.Place Integra seats in car.
7.You will be able to bolt down 3 bolts, the two front ones and the outer rear one with a little effort.
8.Now you'll need to put the last bolt through the rear inner track, heres how:take a 1/2 drill bit and drill a hole in the TRACK right above where the threaded hole is in the floorboard.Once this is done, you should be able to look down through the hole you just drilled and see the threaded hole in the floor.Go to the hardware store and get a longer metric bolt than your stock one, being sure to get the correct thread pitch.Grab some thick washers while you're at it...these will go between the floorboard and the track.Put the final bolt in using the spacers.
9.Use your factory outer seat panel, you will have to trim some plastic where the recline lever is,use an Exacto knife.
Mine didn't have the inner seat panels so not sure about that. It's a tight fit but this works for 90-91 hatchbacks.

Well, mine were blue and my interior was black/charcoal,so I traded them for some Eibach Sportline springs to a friend who has blue interior in his EF and put the stock seats back in.I'll see if he can snap some pics though, they look great in his car.
