Default Shifting problems

How are ya'll doing , I dont hang out in the accord forum much but I am usually in the integra forum ( because I have a gsr). Well my question is that my cousin has a 95 accord(its a 4th gen right?) and it has a automatic transmission and when you shift gears its really stiff and hard to move from Park to any other gear. What could the problems be? Thanks in advance.

90-93 is 4th gen and 94-97 is 5th gen etc . But I have had this problem with my auto too, I want to say there is a tranny selenoid or something to that effect that goes bad, sorry I don't know the exact term but when I took my to my mechanic (like 4 years ago) he told me what it was and it fixed it on my 4th gen . Hope this helps.
