Wow, thats a cool idea, i never thought about switching gauges. I have both of those clusters sitting around here myself. I think i will try this mod. Good job!

why would tach be way off? he swapped the entire tach assy.

Everything is dead on and plugs right in. The 92-93GSR cluster is hard to find. You cant beat 9000 rpms and MPH. I was thinking of selling it and was pretty much just gauging interest.

looks outta place...but I suppose it serves a function and is cleaner than a 5" can with a light sitting on the dash

I would imagine XSi/RSi clusters wouldn't be too hard to get from a JDM parts importer . . . those would have an identical tach to the '92-93 GSR, no?

Do you have any more pics of the install? Some how-to steps perhaps?
