radio not powering up
i have a '92 hatch, and the dude i bought it from cut the factory radio harness plug that usually plugs into the harness that you buy as part of a wiring kit, so i had to wire my pioneer radio harness directly to the wires of the factory civic harness. most of the colors match up and im pretty sure i wired it correctly b/c the guy had a radio in the car b4 that worked perfectly when i took it out, so all i did was replace that radio harness with the pioneer one that i bought. but now its not powering up
i did everything i could think of from grounding the radio to the chasis, to wiring the remote wire directly to the fuse box, to hooking the radio pwr wire to the battery and nothing worked. i'm fresh outta ideas.
i dunno if this might be related to my problem, but everytime i turn the car off and start it again, the clock reads 1:00, and some of my interior lighting seems to work when it feels like it.
i read that on the 92-95 civics that the main relay tends to go bad, and i was wondering if this might have anything to do with any of my problems. please help...i need tunes in my car!
thanks
