Not in Toronto, But just outside of Detroit, in Birmingham I can get it done for you with a 4 wheel alignment (which is ness.) for $300US its not cheap but neither are the Intercomp scales or the Bear laser alignment machine and rack. We can make arangments to do it on a weekend. Let me know.

$300 US plus the trip to Detroit is more then I was bargaining for! I hope it doesn't come to that, I'll let you know. Thanks!

I know a place even further away (Lansing) but they are only $75 for the corner balancing with scales and everything. Doesn't include alignment but there should be plenty of places in Toronto that can do a good alignment and probably cheaper than here.

If you're going to be competively tracking your car it may be worth it, but it is a lot of work. I have to question what kind of corner weighting job is performed for $25. You need scales, a lot of fiddling with individual corner ride heights, etc. If your concerned about appearances just remember that each corner of your car will probably be at a different ride height.

As far as shops in Toronto that can do it for you, check out CSC Racing in Newmarket or maybe even RT Motorsport. You will be looking at a bill of at least a few hundred bucks though.

Same type of cornerweighting done for $300 I would suspect. Put it on a lift, PUt drivers weight into drivers seat, Slide 4 scales attached to one computer. ANd monitor the percentage of cross weight. You can't physically add weight to one side or the other but you can affect the cross weight. We did this by raising and lowering the opposite wheel we wanted to add weight to. TOok about 1-1.5 hours. We got within 1% of balanced.

That different than the job you got for $275 more?

maybe he has connections

I paid $75 for my alignment. I dun have Coilovers but had to sit in the car so he can do what he needed to do to the car. I would imagine it would cost a little more to do cornerweighting from the guy I went to get the alignment done. Maybe the cost of living in TN is really

-Aoib0t, who can never get coilovers.

Granted we are a Lotus Dealer and work on high-end (read expensive) European cars might reflect the price. We support everything from Porsches to Caterham Super 7s that all see track duty. Cars are corner-weighted with in 1% of 50/50 balance left to right. We would also put the equlivant of the drivers body weight into the drivers seat for accuracy. Then a four wheel alignment. I'm sure you can get it done cheaper but sometimes you get what you pay for.

I'll add one more thing. Welcome to Birmingham (again read: expensive)
