Hondata......had the Greddy Emanage and it was a good "piggyback" system, but there is SO much more you can do with the Hondata that you can't do with the Emanage. Not to mention it's a lot easier to find someone to tune the Hondata rather than to tune the Emanage...

its been said before...

the e-manage is a piggyback, thats ALL. You will be limited as to how
far you can go because of this, think of a VAFC.

Hondata is just a hack/crack for a Honda ecu, allowing you to fully re-map
the fuel and ignition tables.

Hondata is easier to tune, because of the 'grid' a/f datalogging, an I guess the
auto-tune stuff. (I don't use it that often)

not to mention if you want to run past 12psi you have to buy an additional boost harness that doesn't come with the Emanage and that runs you $120-$150 extra depending on where you get it.....installation of the emanage sucks because you have to cut into all your ecu wires....

I was running 13psi with my old setup and made 275whp/216ftlb, but there was a minor detail....everytime I hit 80mph in my car I would throw a check engine light b/c of the speed sensor and there was nothing we could do about it. If I was just cruising and I hit 80mph then my car would throw a check engine light and the car would go into limp mode where redline became 5500 rpm...I took it back to my tuner and there was nothing we could do about it because of it being the speed sensor and not being able to go around it. Not to mention to clear the CEL I would have to pop the clutch on the highway or where ever I was to make it go away and then I could race again....it was just weird and annoying!

Hondata is the way to go!

Sounds like something was wrong. Local guy runs emanage with 8 injectors and 1.2 bar no problems. Not to mention the emanage can be tuned from a laptop without burning any roms.

It was tuned from a laptop without any burning. We redynoed it and everything when that problem starting happening and everything was fine with the tune....even took it to another shop and they looked at it for free b/c they didn't believe what was happening and they also blaimed the speed sensor.....I don't know...maybe something was wrong, but all I know is that it was weird....

LOL I'm gonna go with "NO" unless by "chipping the ECU" he means putting in FAST or Motec.

actually Chipping with something like uberdata is very close to hondata, without a few of the perks (but people are working on that). I would look into uberdata if I were you, its much better than the afc hack but not as good as a standalone.

not to mention the software is free and the stuff to chip your ecu is cheap as well.
