Bronze Volks on PY
Seems I've become the "wheel man" of NC! I've gone thru 4 sets of wheels in 15 months if you include the stockers. I've included pics of all here.
Went with white TE37s first! Liked them a lot, but the white just "stood out" too much for me.

Then went for a more stock look with gun-metal Desmond Regas! Bit lighter than the Volks (8.8 lbs vs 10.2 lbs). Had a green hue to them that I was indecisive about!

Now bronze with a drop(..finally)! 15" TE37s, Yoko AVS Inter. 205/50, APEXi N1 suspension. Got a deal I couldn't refuse and did it. I'm happy!

Angled shot.

Close-up.

Looks amazing!!
I was thinking about bronze volks last week but decided to buy some CW ITR wheels instead. Those, however, have been stolen, so I may be back on the market over the winter. Did you buy them new or used? If you don't mind me asking, how much didi you pick them up for??

Perhaps I've missed the story, but how too can I purchase 3 sets of very pricey wheels?

yoshi - who's only been able to afford 4 sets of stock wheels including a set of JDMs
Yeeaaahhh VOLKS! I like 'em any way you've got 'em, but the whites are my fav--I agree it's mad high profile though (not talking about the tires here
) I think I had the white volks on all my cars in GT2 at one point

I have a set of 15x7 5-114 42mm offset Bronzers that will be ready to ship next week! These are now a special order from Mackin and I had my customer back out at the last minute, so these need a home. Last thing I need is another rim sitting around here. If you are SERIOUS about a set, contact me and we can work something out. Thanks.
RstoR that looks exactly like ITR 1236's car (except he has a CF hood and nop mudflaps and BIG JUN stickers on the side, I love the look)
Ok...let me see if I can answer some questions here!
The Deal: My roommate owned the wheels for a few months and has decided to sell his ITR. He wants to return the car to stock, so I picked them up! Don't want to go into specifics too much, but I got the wheel & suspension for about half of what the Volks cost new + my OE wheels.
Sizing: The Regas & Bronze Volks were both purchased from Dave at RandDMotorsports.com! The Regas were 15x6.5 with +42 offset(I think!). The Volks are 15x7 with +43 offset(I think!). I had no clearance issues with either wheel.
How to purchase multiple wheels: Will summed it up, "buy low, sell high!" I purchased the white Volks new for $900 for an ITR owner that had sold his R to start a family and had lost the boxes during a move. I sold them to offset the cost of the Regas, which I purchased from Dave! I sold them just recently since I was unsure about the color. Needless to say, I bought these wheels and paid off half of my CC with the remaining money!
The Drop: The car is low as HELL at the moment! My roommate wanted that slammed look. I didn't change it when I swapped the suspension this week, but I'll be raising it about 1" tonight since I'm dong my first track school this weekend(wooo-hooo)! I would say the car has a 3" drop at the moment. It looks good and rides well, but I can scrap the mud-flaps on everything! I mean...driving down the freeway and they will scrap on a big dip in the road. I sweat thinking about my SMSP header hanging under there! I'll be raising the car 3/4"-1" tonight. That should be a great height.
Carbon hood: Yes, I want one! I wanted to buy my roommate's 1 week old DG hood for a killer deal, but figured paying off my CC would be the more responsible thing to do. Maybe in the future!
Any more questions?

What Chris neglected to tell you was that he sort of won the Regas. Who remembers the First Anual ITR Poetry Contest? This was held last spring and was sponsored by us. Instead of the set of Ray's Engineering Lugs that he won, he expressed interest in some wheels. We then offered them to him at x% over our cost in lieu of the original prize. Maybe Chris would care to post that prize winning poem. If I had it, I would post it without hesitation. LOL!
