Default NX intercooler spray!!!

I did search couldnt really find anything.

Im thinking about getting the NX intercooler spray. I was wondering if anyone had it or used. Is this something you would recomend or Is it bad for the engine.

Is it really worth the money.

thanks in advance

Its a pretty good upgrade if your running alot of boost, but its really expensive. What i've seen done that works pretty well is building your own $5 dollar intercooler sprayer kit. I'm not exactly sure how to do it, but it involves tapping into your windshield sprayer nozzles and using those to spray on your intecooler. And i'm sure you can build a separate system that has its own tank and etc. Thats what i'm going for once i put my turbo kit in. But as for your question, if you got the $$$, NX makes a quality kit.

They suck from what I've seen of them. My buddy had one on his SRT. He ran better times not using. It could just be that set-up though.

IMO it's a waste of nitrous for what it does for you. You might as well spray a (much smaller) shot into the motor to get the same effect. You'll cool the charge more, and get more 02 overall. It's just a gag product as far as I can see, weather it gives you any power or not. Remember, on a dyno, the results from using this product will be inaccurate. On a dyno, the car is not moving, so your I/C is not functioning near it's potential. On the road, any gains that this product will show will be nil with a properly sized IC.
