advan neova's?
I'm thinking about picking up a set of these tires for my ride. Can anybody give me some feedback on these tires? Are they any good, or are they just street tires with a fancy tread design? TIA
They are definitely street tires. They are pretty good all around if your just going to use them for the street. Also, people think that "Advan" anything is pretty exotic stuff hear in North America (even if I've seen these tires mounted on alloy rims on several minivans in Hong Kong!). The rubber compound seems a little tackier than most of the local stuff and they will last you two to three summer seasons if you have another set of track tires (I'm saying summer cause I live in Toronto - we need a separate set of winter tires).
I can get you pretty much any size offered for European and Japanese model cars on Advans, Falkens, Avon, Dunlop, Pirelli, Toyo Trampio series.
Advan Neova's are good sport tyre that can be tracked and alot better then say the OEM set the ITR comes with in my opinion. If you want the newer tyre from Advan would be the Sport tyre called the DNA Gp edition..basically gives you something close to the all aroundness of the Neova but used silca based rubber compound to decrease road noise.
If you need Race Tyres in soft med and hard compounds also let me know.
If your open wheel racer I can supply Avon Race only Tyres as they are used in Audi Formula series.

i was also interested in getting those.. but after i heard the price i backed off.. they are similar to bridgestones found on the ITR.. very soft compound.. they come in that 205/45/16 size that everyone wants for a 16" wheel and here in the states you dont have many brands to choose from in this size. With shipping i say you are looking at close to 8-9 bills for tires alone. add some spoon wheels to that and boom 3 grand! lol!
