Default 89 accord elec. carb

ok..i guess i was on a bit of a rant last time....very frustrated...sorry
my wifes car is giving me and my mech a hard time. It all started a while ago when the car would idle high for a long time after it was warm, it would eventually go down and i was ok with that...but know it fires up (from cold) and seems to idle at abou 3000 then after i kick it down it drops to about 200 and then stalls right out..i am sick (and so is she) of haveing to 2 foot this thing around all the time. I unfortunetly have the electronic carb ...last one before f.i. and it has like 15 vacume and or press hoses running into a black box..i am hoping it is just a sensor but i dont want to just start replacing them as they range from 60 to 130 bucks anyone out there that can help./....please

The reason you are not getting any responses are because you are not fuel injected. A car ran by a Carb and that runs off of Vacuum is a nightmare to fix. IMO. You might want to check out http://www.3geez.com, try to find a forum of "older" cars like a GM forum, or bite the bullet and take it to a honda dealer.
Here try this page first... http://www.3geez.com/showthread.php?t=30076
Hope this helps.

Have you checked for vacuum leaks?
