ZC - timing cover hits the hood on EF hatch?
i was told by alot of people that i have to get the hood with the bulge in it, or my hood will hit the timing cover, which will cause it to hit the belt.
I haven't noticed anything rubbing, has anybody else gotten away with it?

Just check on it every now and then to make sure your clear.
1. Remove top portion of timing belt cover. 2, Cut out a small piece of your hood frame. 3. Washers under your motor mounts.

Got tired of running around without the timing belt cover, and didnt feel like putting washers under my mounts.

I had to put a STACK of washers in my motor mount for the DOHC ZC to fit in my old 91. It worked fine after that. Some folks need to, while others don't.
Mine rubbed with a carbon hood and pretty new mounts, I think alot has to do with what condition your mounts are in. Anyways, If you cut the underside support about 5-6" above where it rubs should be fine after that.
