Fuel pump problem, I need help fast!
I'll try to be descriptive as possible as to what the problem is. I go to work yesterday like normal, park the car and everything is fine. I come back outside about four hours later and my car won't start, I would turn the key to the ON position and could not here my fuel pump at all. I look at my fuel pressure gauge, and I get nothing, I try starting it and it obviously doesn't start. I have a JRSC GSR with the Hondata S200, RC 440 Injectors, Walbro in-tank pump. Well after being frustrated with it for a while I checked all the fuses and they were fine, I also switched out the fuel injection main relay, and still nothing.
I checked every single fuse with a multimeter, and we even put power straight to the pump to see if it was shot. As soon as we put power to the pump via jumper cables and a couple of wires, the pump fired right up. We checked the plugs going to the fuel pump and tested them all to see if we are getting power, and we are.
What could have possibly caused this so suddenly?
Could it be something with the Hondata?
Any help from anybody is greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Might be a slight short in the wiring somewhere...maybe it's not getting enough voltage? Did you check to make sure that there was votage at the pump when you turn the key? Also, I'm not completely sure how the pump is grounded, maybe that could be the problem?
Start at the pump, and work you way back to the battery using your vom.
Did you have voltage at the pump? If not then trace it back until it connects to a fuse, or relay and check there. Find out where you have good voltage and where the voltage is bad. then it's between there.
How much voltage do you have leaving the fuse holder?

Another thing that happened out of no where today was my power door locks quit working. This makes mw wonder if somehow they are tied in electrically like on a relay or a fuse. But like I said earlier, I checked all the fuses under the hood and dash.
Can I rule out that it's the Hondata?
