JDM F20B- Questions
List,
I am looking at buying 2 F20B's ex Japan but i need a bit more infomation on them
I know that they are out of the Accord/ Euro Type-R in Japan .
What swaps could they be used for in the US ....
How would the Ecu's compare to say a f22a out of an accord ?
Same as above for a gearbox ? Same as F22a ?
Thanks in advance
Byron

anything really
probably not a good idea, you want to rv to its full ref rang which is 7500k bouncing off at 6250 is not fun nor is a 5250 vtec x-over
should be lude ratios
np

Actually, the Accord Euro R and Type R come with a tuned H22A motor. The F20B came in the Accord SiR. It is a 190hp motor. The common misconecption is that it came in the R models, and it had 220HP. That is untrue. The most powerful motor offered, in keeping with Honda tradition, is offered in the Accord R's and is the H22. I actually have the brochure on the Accord for the 2001 model year at my house with this info.
As far as the ECU goes, prepare for trouble! Honestly. If you want to know what it is like, call 770 603 9197 and ask for David. That is the number to Acura And Honda Specialists in Jonesboro Ga. They are currently doing that swap. ECU wiring is a bitch!!!!!!!!!

5 speed auto, right? IIRC the F20B equiped Canadian Accord only came in 5 speed auto flavor.
I guess that's why it says "how does it feel to get beat by an auto?" in your sig?

Actually, mine is a 4 speed auto. I wish it was a 5 speed. I will have to look into that tranny you speak of. Interesting.
I am not sure of the gear ratios. Sorry.

then the cams are the only thing i don't know about
what is the compression ratio on the F20B2 ..the 200 ps one .. ??

Not yet. I have talked to many people I know, and they are not sure. I guess the need for it never arose. I am going to try to get in touch with some others that I know and find out.
