CV boots(do both at the same time) and Since it's due for the 60k service anyway might as well do the [Nothing to do with the problem but it's about time for it] Timing belt (for 60k miles) You could wait till 65).. and repack front wheel bearings

Since when does mileage have anything to do with mandated CV boot changing?
Checking it for wear or damage for certain but, just stating to change it because you think that it's the cause of his vague description of a problem is silly.
If his CV joint (not boot, which are 2 different things) is damaged then changing the CV boot will do nothing in saving his axle.

Huh? Since when do we need to change the Timing belt at 60 or 65,000 miles? When the heck did this happen? Uhhh NO! Not till 90,000 on the 94 to 97 Integras and between 100,000 to 105,000 for the 00 and 01's from what I remember from the Helm's manual.

I'd look up Willard's post regarding this for a clear description and pictures of this.

Where did all the misinformation come from?
Let's go back to original posters problem. Did it make a clicking, grinding, screeching? I mean it's hard enough to do it this way online but, for God's sake don't just arbitrarily change CV boots for what, the fun of it.

I agree with 1Greyteg. There are other things to check before replacing a CV boot. And unless the CV boot is damaged or leaking, or the axle itself is damaged, I dont see any reason to replace them. Does the squeaking happen only when cold outside? Do you have any suspension changes other than stock? Id probably start by checking power steering fluid, belts, and then bushings in the front suspension.
Timing belt at 60k?? Is that what the manual says(I dont have a manual)?? Personally I wouldnt bother replacing that yet unless it looks like its worn and needs to be replaced. Thats a lot of work to be done when you just have a squeak somewhere, so Id check everything else first.

what size wheels and tires are you using? offset of wheels? lowered? it sounds more like his tires are rubbing on full lock. wouldn't a busted cv joint be more of a knocking sound and give feedback through the steering wheel?

Yeah, and even from his description he could have even had a rock or crap stuck between his brake pad and rotor for that moment. Who knows,,, there are a few more than just one answer here for the description and definitely Not just change CV boots.

yeah, could be your power steering belt slipping, but it would probably do it everytime you turn the wheel, not just at lock.
