1992 GS-R???
I was looking at a 1992 Integra GS-R... Could you guys give me the run down on these vs. a 3G GS-R, which I'm also looking at. Reliability, Speed, Handling, Things to look out for, etc. Also, is the B17 a hard motor to get parts for, and are they expensive?? Thanks
The G2 GS-R is a great rare car. It has 160 hp, yet performs better than a B16A. It has ITR like gearing and was timed at 0-60 in 6.8 in '92 by Car and Driver I think it was. I don't remember ever seeing a G3 with that time so, it obviously can hang.
It has single stage intake runners like the ITR, and VTEC kicks in well over 5k I know that. It is basically a B16 with a .1 liter advantage.

yeah, nice and rare car. it has 117 ft/lbs of torque compared to the 111 of the b16a. The car is slighly lighter than the 94+ GSR, but is slower. The '92-93 GSR's tend to run about 2-3 tenths slower than a 94+ GSR. It's a good car to have no doubt. Very rare.

Very nice, and rare car indeed. I still kick myself for not buying a mint one that I found about 8 months back. It was a teal '92 GS-R, 37k original miles, black interior, all stock. No mods, 1 adult owner. The guy wanted $8500 firm and was not negotiable at all. While trying to get him come down a little on the price, someone else came and gave him all 8500 on the spot. Darn!
