Default Home to see my ITR..

So, being in college, away from the ITR, its hard. I flew home this week to do my taxes, and even with salt on the roads and horrible weather, I couldn't resist. The car beaconed to me to come drive it. I swear, she was saying "Come on. Get in. Start me up!" I ran outside, opened the garage, and took her off the jackstands. Unh, out of the bat I put 100 miles on her today.

I LOVE driving this car.

I forgot how light the steering is, how the car turns on a dime (even with winter tires). I forgot how light the clutch is, and how the shifter slots ever so nicely, after driving a friend's 95 Neon with a clutch that requires effort and a shifter that doesn't have good feel. I forgot how quickly the car can climb from 80-100 on the highway, and I forgot how elegant that engine noise is. I forgot how nicely heel-toes can be done (although I must say my skills are a bit rusty). The feeling was so great.

And now I had to leave tomorrow. After I make one trip to the carwash to powerwash the bottom and wheel wells, I have to put her back on jackstands and leave her for 2 months. Then, when I get back, I can go through the process all over again.

Ahh, just thought I'd write my feelings.
