obd-0 to obd-1 Those who know!
Hey it's the first gen b16 ecu quirks that began to annoy me today.
I'm just wondering those who've converted to obd-1 about how much did it cost you?
I know I'll need an ecu, dizzy, wiring crap, O2 sensor, ....what else?
thanks

You don't NEED a 4 wire 02 sensor. My brother is running OBD-I with his stock B16A dual o2's. You just need to chip the ECU.
When I go OBD-I, I will get a P28 and chip it, run my stock injectors with the resistor box, stock dual 02's, run an OBD-I jumper harness and get a new distributor.

Thoese setups are the worste ever. You are limited to header choises.
Do it properly. Dont screw around when you can pick up a sensor for like 20 bucks on here like i did if you actually look.
You will need a obd1 or obd2 vtec distributor (makes it easier)
It will need to be re-pinned or whatever, i soldered on the obd2 plug on the obd0 side. Wiring is simple, wires are the same colour they get matched up except obd0 uses 2 white wires, obd1/2 use 1 white wire and another wire.
Ecu, get a correct ecu required for your engine, IE p28 for z6/y8 or chipped p28 for b18c etc. P28 can work for almost anything

02 sensor, you will need a 4 wire 02 sensor to do things properly.
Than you will have to run 4 wires to the 02, a wire for knock, and 2 wires for vtec. A wire for codes. Connect these wires to the harness and its plug and play
You can use obd1 injectors, but it dose not matter, if you do you will have to remove the resistor box, if not just dont touch that. Obd1 injectors require 12V to funtion, an ecu sends 12V which functions the injectors, obd0 injectors require 4.5V to function, an ecu sends 12V, than it goes though the resistor box, lowers it down and than to the injectors. The same signal is sent for the injectors regardless of the Ecu.
It is pricy. I paid 140 for a obd2 Gsr dizzy. 170 for a chipped p28, 185 for a conversion harness (harness and ecu prices may be swiched) and i think 20 or 30 for the 02 sensor. All these prices included shipping. I sold my old obd0 dizzy and pr3 Ecu to pay for some of the cost.
Any Q's just IM me.

Well if you don't have the cash to buy a new header with only 1 02 bung, then why not just chip it so you don't have to have a 4 wire? It's more cost efective. Plus, it's REALLY easy to go back to using a 4 wire.
True.
you could always leave your 02's in there bungs for plugs.
and drill a hole in the collector and weld on a 'anti fouler' has the same thread that the 02's need.
Most people have a drill and a drill bit, and a buddy with a welder.
good luck with your choises!
