Brake Upgrade
Hello everyone. I am doing a brake upgrade. I noticed that the stock driveshafts on my civic ('90 STD - 4 spd manual) might not fit the brakes. The brakes are from a '96 Integra LS. Which in my opinion had a B18B1. So I will probably need to change the driveshafts (I think). So now, my question is, if I change the driveshafts, will they fit with my D-series transmission? Because the driveshafts from the B18B1 would be a lot wider than the one from my D-series motor right?
I take that when you speak of "driveshaft" you are speaking of an axle?
All EF's can take the 90-93 Integra brake upgrade. It is a direct bolt on.
You will not have to change the driveshaft/axle

The standard Civic 4 speed knuckles and axle outer joints are the same as the CRX HF and will not interchange with the teg parts unless you swap knuckles to DX Si or EX, the spline is smaller. The Teg axles are equal length and require an intermediate shaft, so if you are keeping the D moter, that ain't gonna work. Best thing to do is either swap axles or outer joints for the Civic/CRX DX, Si or EX parts. These axles will fit with the Teg upgrade.
