Default JR header for $600

i was talking to JR the other day, and they have brought the prices for their full race header to bout $600 . whats the deal with that ? i mean its great that we can get it for cheap but r they just trying to get rid of them or what? any of u guys have their header? do u like it?

do header really do much, just changing air flow? i heard its more effective on v6+ then on inline fours.

yea summit racing sells them in the mid 500 dollar range. i bought mine used of a good friend of mine, and i love it. I feel a great amount of pull at about 6000rpms and up. top end is great and it sounds really mean hooked up to an apexi n1 (which i had before).
heres a peek at the header wrapped in fiberglass heat wrap..and i took out stock heat shield.

i didnt have a CEL problem at all because the previous owner had the test pipe cut at a muffler shop and welded in a carsound cat.
