i always complain about my mileage being too low and was wondering can my rims+tires be the cause of it because of the size difference....
(would the trip or gas mileage meter read more or less?)


i used the tire calculator and this was the difference...

185/60-14 4.4in 11.4in 22.7in 71.4in 887 0.0%
215/45-17 3.8in 12.3in 24.6in 77.3in 819 8.3%

those are the stock size lx steelies for a 5th gen correct?

185/70/14 is the stock size for and the lx wheels and for you gas meter the bigger size matters somewhat but it's all in your driving habits

thanks for the info... i put 60 and not 70 so the difference becomes

that shouldnt mess with the trip meters/gas meter as much right?
