What is everyone here doing for Valentine's day?

Mine will be a motor sports related Valentine's day as I will be taking my girlfriend to the Monster Jam monster truck rally

Best part? She's really exited about goin' (this will be her first monster truck rally)

 

I'll be here at the atlanta prosolo. Already started off the weekend good with practice starts earlier today and karting just a couple hours ago.

yeah, i was going to be there, but my motor died

 

I'll be wrenching on the soon-to-be ex wife (the 91 HB) then I might take the new wife (the 88 CRX) out for a spin.

 

My wife has to work 12 hours today (and tomorrow, too) doing that baby birthing thing she does. Therefore, we won't be doing much together.

However, we did bring home a new MINI (for her) last night. It's red, even.

I find it ironic which one of us is driving a British car now...

 

typical vday stuff for me. go through a bunch of preparations (order flowers, get gift, make her dinner) and (probably) get not a whole lot in return

 

I restarted GT3.

I love Gran Turismo.
And beer.
And weekends.
And my new SportsCar magazine.
My next oil change stuff.
Not leaving the house to get food.
Uh, I guess that's my Valentine's Day.

 

There's a monster truck rally in Cleveland too...why on earth would you schedule one of these things on Valentine's Day???

 

I'm doing a whole lot of nothing, my wife hates valetines day. Or superficial love day as she calls it.

 

"singles awareness day" is what i like to call it... when you are in a relationship you know who is single... when you arent... you know you are single! what a great day! you dont have to blow your budget on some chick!

 

25 bux for tickets is hardly blowin' ones budget, but to each his own
