getting a EF hatchback STD model..couple questions
hey guys, i just lurk around the boards, and finally getting a hatchback. I wanted a Eg but it will take a while for me to save up for one.
i like the ef and just wondering , the std model is the lightest correct. its the 4speed...is it dual fuel? or mpfi? im prolly just gonna swap in a b16, i was thinking maybe a gsr motor.....with a b16 tranny are these swaps basic? as a b16?.
im gonna pick it up tomorrow, its a clean title, body is strait 200xxx miles, hes gonna smog it for 900 paint fading.

in addition to the mpfi conv, you will need to swap the knuckles out too if you are wanting to do a swap.
an obd-0 b16 would prob be best , can be had for 1200, compared to the 3g Gsr engine. you will need mounts, linkage, and add 4 wires after mpfi conv
