89 PM6 Si ecu's chipable?

Are 89 Civic/CRX Si PM6 ecu's chipable? I have one laying around and am curious if its chipable?

most people will say no, but I hear its possible...just takes alot more work..

only one way to find out, crack it open and look.

Your looking for a 28 pin chip labeled something like 27C256 in the lower right hand corner (w/ the harness plugs to your left).

You can chip them, but it's a bit more work. I have a chipped pr4 that I'm about to sell if you're interested
