I have an idea for riders around the Northwest. I say we ride down to Laguna Seca Raceway in Monterey, CA on July 8th. It lasts all weekend. I know it's kind of a long ride, but I think it would be fun. It doesn't even have to be motorcycles. Anyone interested in it is welcome. But I think it would be nuts to see a bunch of motorcycles cruising down to Cali. What does everyone else think? Suggestions wanted.

 

We could meet up somewhere and ride out from there.

Some non-HT people and I are planning on riding up to Laguna Seca from LA (~ 4 hours). It would be like a H-T Motorcycle meet. All 15 of us.

Not to bastardize this thread too much, but is anyone planning on going to the Fontana AMA event, April 2-4? That's close by, so we'll probably check that out, too.

 

That would be cool too, but the reason why I suggested Laguna Seca is so people can have time to plan if they want to go and it's late in the season. And I really like Laguna Seca Raceway.

ill be there, but my bike is going on hte truck. I got a whole week off for that weekend. I couldnt bring my bike last year cos it it was out of comission. Im makin sure that itll be runnin this time. ....yeah right, ill prolly seize agen. noc on wood

Cool. I will let you know some more details once I get them. I have a couple of buddies that I know where I live that are down. I will keep in touch.

hey sloweg6, just make sure you find a way to lock the trailer down since some guy on another forum got their bikes stolen(they took the whole trailer since the bikes were locked)

For anyone that is coming for the first time, or thinking about coming, you will not believe how many bikes you see. If you ride down on Friday, you will start seeing bikes as soon as you hit the road and the closer you get, the more bikes you see. It's like a Meca for motorcycle riders!

 

I dont know when my group is heading down but we should have at least 10 bikes. Hope to see all you guys there. We'll set something up before we go so we could me up or something

 

ya bike trailer will be locked up aswell as bikes also i have been there 3yrs in a row its sooooooo cool being there around some of the tightest bikes ive ever seen.you all will love it
