15 or 16's for the R
I've been thinkin a lot about getting new rims but, I can't decide whether I want 15's or 16's. I Just wanted to see what you guys prefered for the R. It's not really a daily driver but, I do take it to track events once in awhile. My heart is set on the TE37's. I know this is a question of my own preference but I haven't had a bigger rim on the R and I wanted to know if it's going to be a drastic change putting 16's on it?
Thanks a lot
Thanks a lot

What size? 15x7? Someone will correct me if I'm wrong but you'll need 38+.

I didn't feel a difference in acceleration when I went from ~15 to ~13 to ~9lbs wheels. Turn is a lot sharper if anything.

Slight difference in acceleration.... HUGE (very noticeable) difference in braking.
15.6lb vs. 11lb wheels have huge difference when it comes to steering response & braking.
As for the original poster... I personally like 15's. You don't have to worry about pot-holes as much and have more tire choices in 15's.

With lighter wheels, the steering will feel noticeably lighter. Quicker turn in, doesn't feel as clumsy as stock wheels. I would go 15 by 7 at least maybe even 15 by 7.5 if you can find a solid rim in that size.

If your into more fashion over function, i'd look into the 16's........i had 15" slipstreams on my teg before...didnt look bad, but i ended up getting a hold of some 16's, and I think that extra inch makes the car look better!! Tires cost a little more though, and its not as easy to spin the wheels

I second to that. You already have the OEM 15's so go 16's. Best in both world!
R are much more stable in high speed.

.....what he said.
I'd rather have some 15x8's than 16x7's..... for the $ spent... and put the $ saved on tires into some 225's.

Since I've owned my R I've had 4 sets of 15" wheels and 2 sets of 16" wheels. I prefer the 15" wheels for performance and aesthetics.
I say 15" All the way.
