Default Bought Hydraulic Press - What Else Do I Need?

I ordered one of these to press out my front control arm bushings and press in new ES bushings.

http://www.harborfreight.com/c...=4711

Can someone tell me what adapters I might need? ...or do I not need anything else?

Thanks much!
BZ

A full set of 3/4" drive sockets (up to 2-1/2") would help a bunch with bushing removal.

I am a big fan of the burn and cut method on most CRX bushings. A number of them will be really stuck in there. It may aid you in pressing out to either heat the casing as much as possible, or to still burn out the rubber and center pin then press them out. They come out much easier with heat. Make sure that you have an appropriate sized receiver to push them out also (this is where a lathe comes in handy), without the proper receiver and a stuck bushing you will risk destroying the arm you are trying to get the bushing out of. The press will not be rquired for a mojority of the reinstall, only the comp arms and rear upper arms will need it, and it could easily be done in a vise as well.

Let us know how you like the 6 ton press. I have considered a similar purchase, but I was thinking it would be worth the extra money for the 12 ton if not the 20.

I recently purchased a 20 ton press for $100 at a company auction, plus side of the silicon valley and the low mortality rate of companies.

Can I get some info on where to buy the different parts to take out bushings

thanks
