Any differences with 96+ jdm itr ecu?
I'm replacing my 96 gsr ecu(obd2) with a itr ecu.
Just wanted to know if there any differences with jdm vs. usdm itr ecu? (96-00)
Would you recommend an itr or obd1 ecu for my 96 gsr ecu?

JDM ecu has slightly different fuel and timing maps and does not have any of the emissions check codes. There is also a speed limiter.
I would not recomend getting this ecu if you still have the GsR intake manifold.

If you get the ECU more then likely it could already have delimitor which is normally a piggy back chip that just over rid's the limitor of 112mph. But ask because alot of used ITR's have this because most do open the car up on the track every now and then. Also if you need delimitor I can supply you one from many tuner companies from Japan.
hehe the speedlimited.. it custs of in 5th gear at 7K.. i raced a mustand one night.. droped it at like 100.. i gained about 2 cars before my revlimit kicked in then flashed the hazards.. and he zoomed by.. i couldnt go past 120mph
