Are you referring to like all of the major work that is done.. with fender wells ,etc?

I'd guess yes. But you'll be welding or bolting new pieces of metal to your shifter area at the least (capping off the holes made for shifter and cables).

the only parts on my that is cut is the engine mounts cut back.....and the shifter is cut out....but i figure the mounts prob still work......and just put a weld in a sheet where plate was and put old shifter back in...or something.......

Yes you can, and a few member's on these boards have done so. Part of it depends on what mounts you uses, but either way, you can go back to a b-series. With the HCP mount, you trim the factory tranny mount bracket and redrill for the new mount. For the Hasport mounts, you actually remove the factory tranny mount bracket. If you ran these, you would have to get another one and retack and weld it back onto the frame. As for the shift linkage, you could easily rivet some aluminum or sheet metal to cover that hole, and depending on how much you cut and trimmed for the shifter, depends on how much you would need to patch up if any. But to answer your question, yes, it is possible and I have seen b-series hatches that were previously H-series. Good luck
