Default clutch or cable?

Well over the past couple of months my car has been having a pretty rough time shifting, sometimes grinding pretty hard as if I dont even have the clutch pressed all the way down now it finally let up and just isn't letting me shift period, reverse is just making a horrible grinding noise... only way to drive is put it in first when I start it, but it jumps as I start... anyone have an idea of what it could be?

It was realy hard to get it into gear, like I had to jam the shifter in there to get it into gear! Then all of a sudden I couldn't get it into gear whatsoever! Replaced the cable and problem solved!

CLutch cable definitely. Just reach under the dash on the top of the clutch pedal, unhook the end of the cable. Then unhook it from the tranny. Then it just pulls through the firewall. It's really simple.

Exactly, once you look under your dash and see your clutch pedal, you will see how easy it is. I got mine for $40 from Honda, don't buy a cheap aftermarket one cause that's what I had from a donor car...

ok last night it was a little too dark to work on it... I just took a look, I'm not seein the cable at all from under the dash, I saw a little spring that looked like it was doing something, does the cable somehow attach to that? I got so much bs under there it's hard to see
