Are the injectors on MPFI numbered the same for the firing order or according to the cylinder? thanks

Huh? Let's see if I understand what you are asking - your question is pretty vague and could use a bit more detail I think.

They do not all fire at the same time. They each fire individually when they are supposed to. I think you are asking, but not sure, if the injectors actuate in the same order that the spark plugs do. Obviously, they don't actuate during the time that the spark plug in that same cylinder is firing, but - Yes - they do it in the same order.

They are numbered? I haven't seen any numbers on the 4 sets of injectors I have owned. They do have a specific plug on the engine harness that goes to them though. The only numbering I can think of is the wiring schematic that numbers the injector wires by #1, #2, #3, and #4. They number them by cylinder, not firing order.

 

well thats what i was asking and i appreciate it. I know they dont inject when the spark plug fires.......i was only asking cause im doing a DX dual point to multipoint swap. I wasnt sure if the injector was one was at cylinder 1, injector 2 ar cylinder 4 etc.....but i guess they are injector 1 at cylinder 1, injector 2 at cylinder 2 etc......thanks for the info.
