Throttle Cable Slack
Adjust the throttle cable slack put in by the factory. Makes a noticeable difference.
Now I know how you get the jump on us BabyNSX, it's not the Spoon header it's the cable slack.

Edwin - It's on baby! Pack your measuring tape for Thursday, cause the springs are in! I will soon be king of the speed bump ginders.

You see...never tell Edwin anything...he is sneaky as hell.
And he wont return the favour!
Like these PHANTOM Japanese tires that he kept hidden from us!

how do you adjust the throttle cable slack? let me know let me know now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
To remove the slack simply back off these nuts and adjust them until the slack is removed from the length of cable between this treaded tube and the throttle body.
Regards,
Make sure that there is just a little slack, enough that there is a touch of deflection when you pull on it with your finger (GOD reported a need for 10mm of deflection with light pressure, I think I have maintained about 5mm without apparent negative effect), but the massive sag that you see from the factory definitely needs to be taken out.

lol.
However, if you remove the slack from between the throttle and the bracket, doesn't the slack then transfer to the cable between the pedal and the bracket?

Im wondering if The cable and get scretched over time and need replacement. Do they normally need to be replaced? Cause i would pull my cable and did some experimenting last night and even if i set the nuts almost all the way to the left, i tightened it back up....gently push on the thin wire and theres still at least 3/4 inch deflection.
I compare the deflection in this throttle cable to the idle cable below and the idle cable at stock setting is noticably tighter with less deflection.

holy mackerel!
10 years thread bump...
