ver stripped the bolt on the camshaft to turn engine
i totally stripped the bolt that you would normally use to turn the engine over
can i turn over the engine and the crankshaft bolt?

go to sears.
buy the "bolt out" kit
order a new bolt and any other parts you may need from hondaautomotiveparts.com
when the bolt arrives take out the stripped one and put in the good one.
might as well get an adj cam gear and a cam since you have the bolt out (joke)
crankshaft pulley is a 17mm but i think you already read that.

did he strip the head of the bolt or the threads ? i use the cam bolt but i take the spark plugs out so theres barely any resistance. but it would be safewr to use the crank bolt
there is simply no reason to use the cam gear bolt. u are turning the motor with a 14mm bolt that is ment to be turned with a 17mm. i guess there would be less resistance by turning the cam gear bolt since it would work like a bike chain. the 17mm bolt on the crankshaft is still the more correct and easier way to do it though.
