i see people posting pics of thier ride all the time. i notice they blur the plate, or cover it.

why do you do it, and why is it so important?

 

so thieves can't find your car and steal your ****.

If i posted pics of my new engine sawp for example, then they had my license plate, they know that the black civic with the license plate no. xxx-123 has a fresh b18c5 with some nice bolt-ons. They will be on that like white on rice (no pun intended)

Just better safe than sorry really.

 

You can take the plate to the DMV, pay a fee, and have the address of the owner.
