Default Need a little help on number plaque

So I haven't posted in a hell of a long time, last time I did I wrote about how my car was broken into and vandelized quite badly. Well one thing that has really gotten to me is the fact that the body shop replaced my center console and threw away my numbered plaque without my consent. I have a blank ITR plaque now and am not sure if there is a way to contact Honda or anyone on getting my number inscribed somehow. Is this even possibe? If I remember correctly the numbers were raised out as opposed to engraved in. Any help would be appreciated, I'm considering selling the car come spring time and I'm sure someone who knows the car will not appreciate a missing ID plaque. Thanks guys...by the way am I spelling "plaque" right? whoops can't even spell number right in the title

You know the nuber, right?

Just take it to an engraver, show them a photo, and let 'em have at it. I don't recall it being raised - perhaps the plastic made it look like that.

Just take the plastic off and get some metal stamps. Take a hammer and stamp the numbers back in. That's all it takes.

All right guys, listen up.

My car was broken into a while ago and along with most of the car, my number plaque disappeared too. You can get another plaque from Honda, but it will not be engraved. The "ACURA" was raised, but the number itself is engraved. First you have to remove the plastic cover from the plaque which is very difficult to do; be very careful - it is prone to cracking. Then take it to a specialty store, like a sports store that does engraving for baseball or football plaques and the like and have them engrave it.

I went through three plaques before it was satisfactory.
