Great radar detector but aren't they are only like $270 from Best Buy with warranty and like $220 cost?

Must be more expensive in TX, only $270 or $280 here and we don't have sales tax. Find a friend who works there and they are $220. Good detector though, my brother had one and loved it. I am inherating it soon untill I get my Valentine 1 and he is upgrading to the new Escort Passport with the shifter built in.
