Much to my surprise, HC remains smaller in NorCal than other regions . I think we had 8 cars that weekend.

Nice video...

Yep, it is still small crowd. However, you rarely see them in my video because they all are behind me

No he didn't. Andre qualified as the fastest Honda. On Sat., HC had to start behind the rest of the PS, SM, etc cars. That is why you see him marching thru those guys.

On Sunday, the HC guys got to run our own flag & got to start as the first group!

Andrie
Always enjoy your video's.
When (not if) i make it down to Infineon i will use your video as a study guide.
Looks like some the drivers need to check their rear view mirrors a little more.
Back when i used to surf we called boogie boarders "road bumps". Looks like a couple of miata's could have (maybe should have) became road bumps for you.
keep the video's coming.

James,

can't wait to see you guys again. Team Continental crowd are awesome. Any news if you guys gonna make it down again?

It is funny regarding the miata. The guys on the last lap complained on NASA list that I was passing them trying to make up place when I don't need to. They said they were fighting for 2nd place. Well, I was fighting for 1st place, damnit!

Andrie Nice videos . one thing I noticed, is your seat bolted down or is held by some rubberbands ? Norcal Secret? You should really get a new seat or put in a seat brace from the back. Its much easier to drive when ure seat doesent move around.

Andre,
I actually have traded some cordial emails with the driver of the blue Miata. What he posted was the race report that he placed on his website. He was so focused on his own race, that I honestly don't believe that he realized that you were racing against Tom. I explained that you were racing for postion in your own race & class. In his reply, he asked me for permission to post my email so that the whole story could be told. He also expressed regret that their race had an effect on yours - "My apologies to him then. Mind if I put your comments on my webpage so that the full story gets told?"

My goal, in my email to him & this public post, is to foster understanding between the different race groups.

HI Mike,

that's what I thought too. I knew he was at the heat of the battle and didn't realize I'm coming up fast and battling with Tom. No big deal, as I doubt I could pass Tom in that last lap anyway. But you know I had to give it a try

You know what, I think you are right. The seat moved by a lot. But the Sparco reps I talked to, said you better not put back brace on these seats. The seat bolted down using all Sparco hardware. That satisfy FIA regulation. However, from the latest safety seminar by SCCA, NASCAR, and HANS, they all recommend the most rigid seats. They do said that alumnum seats are crap, if I remember correctly.

I'll see what need to be done to get the seat much more rigid. MAybe I can cut 1 more second?
