yO Does anyone know of a How 2 Remove a tranny from an EF hatch Write-up??? I have DOHC ZC motor and i blew my tranny, im pretty sure its an EF single cam tranny and im going to replace it myself, Thanks in Advance
yO, A Helms manual will be of great help! Basically just look at what is holding the tranny in the car then start taking **** apart. Start with the hubs and axles then pull the batt and intake, then put a jack under the motor and start pulling the tranny mounts then seperate the tranny from the block. It is a simple procedure, just take your time and have fun learing while your fixing your car. If you have any questions feel free to IM me.
yea it's more or less straight forward. Remember to take the two bolts in the starter off and disconnect the two wires on the front of th tranny and the speedo cable...I almost forgot the speedo cable, realized it when we started dropping it down. I have a manual but my dad and I didn't really use it because it was pretty straightfoward,
